hey a lots been going on now, over spring break my dad all of a sudden need to have open heart surgery his aorta (tube going into heart) was triple the times the size it should have been so that needed to be replaced with a synthetic one and because it was large so long it damaged the valve going into his heart so they needed to replace that with a metal valve ( you can even hear it click).  so all went well and hes doing better everyday but it still stressed the living hell out of me (going there and back for hours on end my entire break and for visiting the week after) and i am still exhausted now.  the only bad things about it now is that he need to take +6 weeks off to recover, he's getting paid half of what he does for that time off and he has to take cumadin ( a blood thinner pill or else he will get a blood clot form the metal valve and die with in a month) the rest of his life oh and i have to get checked when im 25 and on to make sure i don't have/get and enlarged aorta because they are not sure if its genetic or not. 
any ways i also got a bunny named belle, i don't know if im gonna pass ear training because i have this frikkin choir guy for my teacher and he expects everyone to be awesome at it, i had my sophomore recital and only andrew came (but thats all i really need anyways :)) because it was a few days after my dads surgery so also therefore i played the damn thing with almost no dynamics and had a couple little glitches probly one of the worst performances of it but i still did alright and still played it memorized.

just incase you forgot this is pipin when we first got him all scraggly and upset, hes still paranod but he is much healthyer.

me and andrew did our testing for Iaido ( the japaneese milatary sword fighting class we started this summer) and we went up 2 ranks, so we are rank three now. even though andrew is better then me he the one who really enjoys it and wanted to take the class. when school starts ill only be going to Iaido once a week because i have to practice my ass off when im in school and i don't have time to go, and i don't need the extra stress and resposiblity. but i will probly do it for the summers to come. 

on another compleatly differnt note, my old childhood friend who i still talk to and hang out with, jennie schriber is going to have a baby and its due in january. so im going to see her hopfully sometime next week and i went through some of my old stuffed toys and picked out a fluffy pig to give to her for her kid and i was thinking about making a blanket for them too. its exciting but crazy because shes a month younger then me.  she was already going to marry the dad before they knew and now the dad is going to go to college and she is going to graduate high school, so i am really hoping everything will work out for them and they will be a healthy happy family. but for those of you that pray maybe say a little one for them if you remember.

I waited in line with andrew for an hour in the heat for the store to open then another hour and  a half inside. woo im a crazy loser. it was fun though! she was premoting her new line at steve and barrys called bitten. she shook our hands and she was really really nice and she is so short and tiny! she looks bigger on TV :P i said i loved her clothes line and she said good good and then she asked us if we were gonna go home and sleep and i said ya and she said thanks for coming. but she was so nice a perky the whole time and its just crazy to see someone that you see on tv everynight and then talk to them in person! they wouldn't let us take pictures in line and took all our stuff when we went up to meet her so we coudln't get a  pic with her or have her sign anything but a picture they gave us. and the secrity gaurds were saying get your one picture and go but they would step in frount of her so you couldn't get a good shot so i was pretty lucky to get this one. im so glad andrew went with me and he didn't even get too mad or annoyed waiting all that time! including him there were like 5 guys there all pretty much wipped husbands watching the kids of the mom's who wanted to be there. im framing the autograph pictures and hanging one in my room and one at andrews apartment. yay! :):):)

i went to a ravi shankar concert last sat. at orchestra hall and it was awesome. it was like 2 and 1/2 hours long and i wasn't bord once. so i have a new icon of his daughter anoushka because she played at the concert too and she was so amazing, and so was the drummer. so you all should check out their music cause its cool.

hey my spring break is the week of the 12th in march.

Samual Adler is at wyane this week and he guest conducted our band for an hour. it was pretty cool because  we played a piece he wrote called "A little night and day music" and its just cool being conducted by the guy who wrote the piece your playing. he was pretty crazy though like most band directors. yup. and then it got realllly cold and snowy so me and andrew decided to stay out here for the night and went out to eat at the traffic jam here in detroit , i got a turkey ruben it was pretty dang good and the atmosphere is really nice in that place. and the birdies are all doing well here too, see ya!

hey all  royal oak high people whens your next home game that isen't homecoming cause I actually want to see your whole marching band show. I might just watch it form normandy but I might go in to see clare kehoe and all the other band members who don't suck. :P but I'm deffinitly leaving after half time. also I heard the teachers kinda suck in marching band, I also heard you aren't playing cadences... that scares me I always wanted cornfoot to live on. 
I have math class more days of the week then any of my music classes, that doesn't seem right...

The Wal-mart on 15 miles road recycles plastic bags. The box is right in front where the vending machines are. Now you all know so recycle your plastic bags because plastic is bad for the environment. According to my environmental science teacher it never biodegrades, so it’s best to reuse plastic so it doesn’t end up destroying some ecosystem somewhere. That’s my hippie speech for the day.

some times i hate Wayne so much i don’t know when my move in date, im supposed to try out again for what band im in apparently sometime in late august but i haven’t gotten any info on that at all like what i need to play or the date and they haven’t confirmed my meal plan. ugh!

on another note my parents took snickers to an emergency vet at 5 AM last thursday because she kept panting and coughing/gagging like she had to throw up or something and wouldn’t lay down or relax and looked like she was in pain and couldn’t breathe well. This had happened before but she just wouldn’t stop. then they had to put her down because she had some kind of lung disease that could’ve been cancer we think. 
so the house was way to calm and empty with out her so we found a dog today we really liked at the humane society that is a chow and we think black lab mix. he is completely black including his gums, tongue and the rest of his mouth, so we setled on the name vader after darth vader. he is 10 months old and is very nice in the house and even out side but he just doesn’t seem to like other dogs very much or at least he barks at them a lot. he is much calmer then snickers, which isn’t really that hard but he is very enjoyable so far. he is very fascinated with the birds and will just stare into scooters cage and watched him for a long while. I’ll post pictures later.
